Buckwheat honey has been a favorite since I was a child, so it’s always a must order. This one is strongly flavored, so it’s not always to everyone’s tastes, but I love it. It’s great on quark or yoghurt, and gives an amazing depth of flavor when baked into a honey wheat bread. I appreciate the glass jar, I can set it in a saucer of hot water to get the very last bit out easier.
I just finished this honey, and I really enjoyed it. The taste is great, and it does not raise my blood sugar level. I hope your honey will continue being high quality because I had to give up buying from some farms that used to be good but no any more. I had to try this after reading the description, and found it to be as wonderful as anticipated. The honey is beautifully dark and richly layered with flavors. Highly recommended- it would also make a unique and delicious gift!
Tired this buckwheat honey for the first time a couple years ago after finding it a the Jordan Candy Store. I love how rich it is. I'm going to put an lb. in my next home brewed honey brown ale too.
